The app is designed around on-device training data. It does not require you to create a separate account with us. Apple and the services used to operate subscriptions and paywalls may process limited purchase, technical, and interaction information as described below.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Dog Training: Clicker Whistle iOS application (the “App”) and the associated public website (together, the “Service”). It does not replace the privacy policies of Apple or third-party services that you choose to use through the Service.
2. Information handled by the App
Training and profile information
The App may let you enter information about your dog, such as a name, age or life stage, experience, training goals, preferences, completed sessions, command progress, training minutes, streaks, and similar training history. The App is designed to store its core training and personalization data locally on your device.
Notification settings
If you enable reminders, the App may use Apple’s notification system and store the reminder settings needed to schedule those notifications. You can change notification permission in iOS Settings.
Audio-tool settings
Preferences for tools such as clicker sounds, haptics, and whistle presets may be stored so that the App can remember your choices.
3. Purchases and subscriptions
Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your full payment-card details. The App uses RevenueCat to manage purchase status, restores, subscription entitlements, and related subscription infrastructure. RevenueCat may process information such as an app-user identifier, product and entitlement information, purchase receipts or transaction information supplied by Apple, and technical information necessary to provide its service.
The App also uses Superwall to present and manage paywall experiences. Depending on the production configuration, Superwall may process technical or interaction information needed to present, measure, and operate those paywalls. Purchase fulfillment and entitlement status remain handled through Apple and RevenueCat.
4. Website and hosting information
This website is a static informational site and does not include an account system or a contact form. If you email support, your email provider and ours will process the message and associated addressing information. The hosting and network providers used to serve the website may process ordinary request information such as IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, and security logs as part of delivering and protecting the site.
5. How information is used
Information is used only as reasonably necessary to provide and improve the Service, personalize training recommendations on the device, remember your settings, provide reminders you request, enable subscription access and restoration, present paywalls, troubleshoot problems, maintain security, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations.
6. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that support the Service, including Apple for App Store distribution and purchases, RevenueCat for subscription and entitlement infrastructure, Superwall for paywall presentation, and infrastructure providers used to host or secure this website. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.
7. Retention and deletion
Because the App’s core training information is designed to live on your device, deleting the App or using any in-app reset functionality may remove locally stored data, subject to iOS backup and device behavior outside our control. Purchase and subscription records may be retained by Apple, RevenueCat, or other providers according to their own legal and operational requirements. Support emails may be retained as reasonably necessary to resolve your request and maintain appropriate records.
8. Your choices
- You can control notification permission in iOS Settings.
- You can manage or cancel App Store subscriptions through your Apple account settings.
- You can request restoration of eligible purchases from within the App.
- You can delete the App or use available reset controls to remove locally stored training information.
- You can contact us with privacy questions or requests at augustin.dev@tutamail.com.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through a support request or other channel, contact us so we can review the situation.
10. Security
We use reasonable measures appropriate to the nature of the Service, but no device, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep your device and Apple account protected and use current operating-system security updates.
11. International processing
Service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Their processing is governed by their own terms, privacy policies, and applicable legal safeguards.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service changes. The effective date at the top will be updated when a revised policy is published. Material changes may also be communicated in the App when appropriate.
13. Contact
