The App provides general dog-training education. It is not veterinary care, diagnosis, emergency guidance, or a substitute for individualized help from a qualified trainer, behavior professional, or veterinarian.
1. Acceptance
By downloading, accessing, or using Dog Training: Clicker Whistle (the “App”) or this website (together, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
The App provides personalized training plans, short guided sessions, commands and tricks, progress tracking, reminders, a clicker tool, whistle-signal practice, and related educational content. Features may change as the product develops, and some features may require a paid subscription.
3. Safe and responsible use
You are responsible for deciding whether an exercise is appropriate for your dog, your environment, and the people or animals around you. Stop an exercise if your dog appears distressed, fearful, injured, or unsafe. Use suitable equipment, secure environments, appropriate distances, and good judgment.
For severe aggression, bite risk, significant fear, sudden behavior changes, suspected pain, or other safety-sensitive concerns, seek individualized help from a qualified professional. Never rely on the App for emergency decisions.
4. Clicker and whistle tools
The clicker and whistle features are training aids. Phone speakers vary and may not reproduce very high frequencies consistently. The Service does not promise ultrasonic output, guaranteed hearing range, guaranteed recall, or any specific behavioral result. Keep audio at a reasonable level and avoid playing sounds close to a person’s or animal’s ears.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Some features may require an auto-renewing subscription. Available plans, pricing, billing periods, and any offer terms are shown in the App before purchase. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled according to Apple’s App Store rules and the terms shown at purchase.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple account settings.
- Eligible purchases can be restored using the restore option provided in the App.
- Refund requests and payment disputes are generally handled under Apple’s applicable policies.
RevenueCat is used to support purchase and entitlement management, and Superwall is used to present paywall experiences. These services do not replace the terms that apply to your transaction with Apple.
6. License
Subject to these terms and any applicable App Store terms, you receive a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own lawful, non-commercial use. You may not copy, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, interfere with, scrape, or exploit the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, training content, visual design, text, graphics, and branding, is protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited license above, no rights are transferred to you.
8. No guarantee of results
Dog behavior depends on many factors, including health, genetics, learning history, environment, consistency, timing, stress, and individual temperament. We do not guarantee that a dog will learn a skill, stop a behavior, respond to a whistle, maintain a streak, or achieve any particular outcome.
9. Service availability and changes
We may update, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary for product, safety, legal, security, or operational reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
10. Third-party services
The Service depends on or interacts with third-party platforms and services such as Apple, RevenueCat, Superwall, and hosting providers. Their own terms and policies govern their services. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
11. Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of guaranteed results, uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular training outcome, or error-free operation. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Service. You remain responsible for supervising your dog, choosing safe training environments, and obtaining appropriate professional help when needed. Any limitation in these terms applies only to the extent allowed by applicable law.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the Service, users, third parties, or legal rights, or in response to serious misuse. Subscription cancellation is handled separately through your Apple account.
14. App Store terms
If you obtain the App through Apple’s App Store, Apple’s applicable App Store terms and end-user-license terms may also apply. Where mandatory App Store terms or consumer protections conflict with these terms, the mandatory provisions control.
15. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms as the Service changes. The effective date above will be updated when revised terms are published. If a change materially affects your rights, additional notice may be provided where appropriate.
